Pretzel Crisps are a modern twist on an old favorite. They’re the best part of the pretzel – all the flavor and crunch you love – but lighter, crispier and more versatile than ever before. Whether you like them plain, dipped, or paired with your favorite toppings, we’re sure you’ll enjoy this wholesome snack as much as we do.
One bite and you’ll Rethink Your Pretzel!
We are huge fans of pretzels in our house and when we got the opportunity to review the great Deli Style flavors of Pretzel Crisps we couldn’t pass it by. With seven different flavors there is something for everyone and we soon found our favorites. While my husband and I enjoyed the more bold and spicy flavors, our daughter went for the more traditional like Original, Everything and Sesame.
Now that back to school is in full swing and we need to come up with creative lunch and snack ideas for our kids Pretzel Crisps come in like a perfect solution. They are a healthier option for your little ones, perfect alone and amazing with dips, spreads, or when used in recipes.
They also make a great snack for grownups. You can take them to work, have them as a snack with fruit, veggies, cheese, favorite dip or crunch them over a salad. Light enough after workouts and delicious while watching movies. With only 110 calories per serving this definitely is a better for you snack option.
The Pretzel Crisps Deli Style come in these seven flavors:
- Garlic Parmesan
- Buffalo Wing
- Jalapeño Jack
- Chipotle Cheddar
The flavors are bold and perfect in recipes. We combined them with sour cream dip, avocado dip, cream cheese dip. The original one is great with Nutella and peanut butter as well. Plus all of them, especially the spicy flavored ones make a perfect addition to breaded meat or veggies. Like this Pretzel Crisps Chicken Recipe we made with the Pretzel Crisps Deli Style Everything.
Pretzel Crisps Chicken Recipe
8 boneless, skinless chicken tenders
2 eggs, lightly beaten
Salt and pepper to taste (if needed)
3 cups finely ground Pretzel Crisps Deli Style Everything (you can also crush them if you prefer more crispy coating)
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
In a medium bowl combine egg, salt and pepper. Mix well and add in chicken tenders. Let them sit in the egg while you work on the coating.
In a food processor, pulse the pretzels. You can do it coarsely or finely ground. You can even crush them in a Ziploc bag if you don’t have the food processor. When done in a large bowl combine flour and pretzel. Mix well.
Preheat oven to 400 F. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Take chicken tenders out of the egg and generously coat them with the pretzel mixture on all sides. Place each chicken tender onto the baking sheet.
Bake 16 to 25 minutes (turn chicken tenders halfway trough) or until cooked though. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, side or salad of choice. This makes 4 to 6 servings.
The chicken came out great and we will definitely add Pretzel Crisps in the future more often. They also make a great addition to burgers and meatballs when ground and added instead of the breadcrumbs.
All in all we enjoyed trying all the different flavors and now we all have a new favorite go to snack. We hope you will give them a try as well!
