Yummy Berry Mango Smoothie
Smoothies are great way to add more fruit into your diet and they help with weight loss. Next time you are tired of just a plain old fruit salad try a nice and refreshing smoothie instead.
Berry Mango Smoothie
1/2 cup strawberries, cut
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup mango, cubed
1 small banana (for a thicker smoothie use a frozen banana)
1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender. Blend everything for about 1 to 2 minutes or until everything is smooth and there are no large chunks.
Pour in glasses and serve. This makes about two (8 oz) servings.
Note #1: For a thicker smoothie use frozen fruit (banana, mango and berries).
Note #2: Optional garnish berry syrup, but this will add additional calories to your smoothie. Nutrition facts are calculated before adding any garnishes.
