Mamma Toad does everything she can think of to save her unruly brood from Fox’s frying pan, including offering up herself, and eventually persuades Fox to try her own secret recipe for Toad-in-a-Hole, a tasty treat that they all end up enjoying together.

The secret? No toads!

Toads on Toast is a darling children’s book that will keep your little reader smiling all the way trough. In this book you will meet the Fox, who has a collection of new cookbooks all featuring recipes with tasty young toads. You will love the adventurous, quick and cute young toads Fox catches for his dinner. And you will meet their mom the Mamma Toad who will stop at nothing to save her kids.

In the end she shares a yummy recipe with Fox the one that she calls Toad-in-a-Hole. Fox is not happy at first, but in the end they all end up enjoying this yummy recipe together. And so did we!

We loved every part of this book. The story, the illustrations and of course the delicious recipe in the end.
