Ingredients:

1 and 1/2 cups roughly torn mint

2 cups sugar

6 cups water

1 cup fresh lemon juice

Directions:

Wash mint under water to remove dust and dirt. Roughly cut mint with kitchen scissors or a knife.

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer over low heat until the sugar is melted. Strain through a sieve and discard the herbs.

Cole completely before transferring to jars or bottles. When cool, pour into glass jars or plastic bottles and store in the refrigerator. You can keep it in the fridge for up to two months.

To serve, you can either dilute it with water, sparkling water, add it to lemonade or iced tea. You can also use it for alcohol drinks and desserts as well!
