Make your own Oreo Cookie Cake Balls
Delicious is the only way to describe these yummy Oreo Cookie Cake Balls. They are quick, easy to make and perfect to do with your kids.
Oreo Cookie Cake Balls
1 box of Oreo cookies, crushed
1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
1 package white almond bark, melted (optional if you want to make variety in chocolate colors)
Shredded Coconut (optional)
In a food processor crush Oreo cookies. Use the entire cookie with cream. Add in softened cream cheese and blend together until well combined.
Roll into walnut size balls placing them on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place the sheet in the refrigerator and chill for at least an hour.
Melt chocolate chips (and almond bark if using it).
Take a wooden skewer and insert it in the Oreo ball. Dip each ball in chocolate or almond bark. Place them back on the parchment lined cookie sheet. Let them cool until chocolate hardens and is no longer sticky to the touch.
If desired drizzle the remaining chocolate on the top (dark on white balls and white on chocolate balls). Or you can add some shredded coconut to the top!
Depending on the size of the Oreo cookie cake balls that you rolled this recipe makes between 3 and 4 dozens.
